Learning Solutions seeks to promote good teaching practices in the community by offering Parent and Teacher Workshops. Public workshops are held every other month at the office of Learning Solutions (see upcoming events for dates and times). Outside workshops can be arranged at your request.
Parent and Teacher Workshops Offered:
Spelling is A ‘Peace’ of Cake
Participants will learn all about spelling rules and how to teach students to remember them using fun activities and methods.
Making ‘Sense’ of Reading
Participants will learn how to use all of the senses to teach reading to ensure that every child is successful.
Math: A Recipe for Success
Participants will learn strategies for teaching students to learn and recall all of the basic math facts.
Dyslexia: The Road To Success
Participants will learn about the different types of dyslexia, profiles of each, and how to program for students who exhibit these characteristics.
